An Ami in Berlin

An Ami is an affectionate nickname for "American." "The Amis" are "The Americans." Since most of my German friends grew up on the "other" side of the wall, I am their "Ami" friend. I'm also mom to Timothy, David and Becca, and wife and friend to Tim.

Congratulations, Lyn! I don't have time right now to read your post as I need to get ready for the men's prayer breakfast, but I'll check it out later on. Thank you for the picture of the cabin in the snow. It looks like you all might get a few more flakes this week!

Love you lots!

Hey Lyn,

This is great! Next thing you need to do is put a counter on it -- I'll see if I can remember how to do that and e-mail it to you.

Love it -- and what a wonderful way to keep up with you and the family. Having four of us now blogging is super!!!

Love, Jan

Hooray for you!! You joined the crew of us bloggers and you are off to a wonderful start. I can't wait to keep reading and have the chance to stay in touch. I loved the picture of the log cabin. I've never seen it in the snow. It was quite a treat.

I love you lots!!

Hi Lyn,
It is great to finally see a picture of Montrose. I had hoped to get there before now but this will have to do for now. It look beautiful.

This is the first time I've posted to a blog. I look forward to using it to keep in touch! I'm up to my neck in wedding planning, for Laura, which consumes a lot of my time these days.

Love ya, Lynda

Linny, I love this blogging and really enjoyed seeing the Montrose House and "Way Station" - it has been a long time - a place of great memories. It is hard to realize that over 40 years have flown by - do you all still run out to the porch and way goodbye to whomsoever is off and running? Loving you and thanking God for your family. Peggus
